Armin De Weerdt

Assistant Vice President, Finance

Armin De Weerdt has worked in finance and accounting for over eight years, with a focus on data & financial analysis and process improvement. Mr. De Weerdt is an AVP, Finance at Carrick Group.

Prior to joining Carrick, Armin was an Assistant Finance Manager at Pillar Capital Management Limited, a Bermuda-based specialist collateralized reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment manager, where he was responsible for month-end reporting, preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements, and regulatory filings. Before that, he was an Audit Manager at KPMG in Bermuda, managing audit engagements across multiple industries.

Mr. De Weerdt registered as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 2020 and is also registered as a CPA in Bermuda. He has obtained his Associate in Reinsurance certification and passed the CFA Level I examination in 2024.
