June 2nd, 2025 – Carrick Group Limited (“Carrick”), a Bermuda-based international non-life legacy insurer, has appointed Armin De Weerdt as Assistant Vice-President, Finance.

Mr. De Weerdt joins Carrick from Pillar Capital Management Limited, a Bermuda-based specialist in collateralized reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment manager. Mr. De Weerdt, who was previously an Audit Manager at KPMG Bermuda, is responsible for preparing financial forecasts and reports, evaluating financial performance, driving process improvements, and supporting both reinsurance and acquisition transactions.

Mr. De Weerdt is the company’s first full-time employee on the island. Carrick has two Bermuda-based independent non-executive directors.
